Space Where You Belong

We embrace diversity in all forms and have curated our office space to feel welcoming and safe, where you can be, and explore, your true self.

Our Space

Space and location matter. Whether you’re searching for a sense of what our offices look like, or need more information about where to find us, you’ll find what you’re looking for below.

Where to Find Us

When booking an appointment with Inward Bound Psychology, you can choose whether to connect face-to-face in our offices or virtually, depending on what works best for you and your circumstances.

If you choose to connect virtually, your appointment confirmation will provide a link and information about connecting to your appointment.

If your appointment is in person, you can find us at

#203, 136 17 Ave NE
Calgary AB, T2E 1L6

We’re located on 17th Avenue North, at 1st Street East, approximately one block east of the Centre Street (Beacon Heights) Safeway.

For questions about our practice, therapists, or approach, contact us at info@inwardbound.ca, 403-828-1246, or by filling out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Parking and Accessibility

There is ample free 1- and 2-hour street parking on the south (17th Ave NE) and east side of the building (1st St NE), as well as in the surrounding community. We encourage you to use the 2-hour parking to give yourself enough time and avoid any tickets.

We are located on the 2nd floor of a walk-up building. Should stairs present an accessibility concern, please chat with us about our virtual service options and how we can best support your needs.

Office Hours

Our team provides flexible hours throughout the week, with times that fit your schedule. The profiles on the Team page include information about each therapist’s hours. Available appointment times are also listed when you click to book with a member of our team.

What to Expect

Inside the Office

We’ve intentionally curated our spaces to help you feel at ease. When meeting with one of our therapists in person, the first space to welcome you is our waiting area. Please help yourself to something to drink and make yourself comfortable while waiting for your appointment. At your appointment time, your therapist will come to greet you and lead you back to a counselling room.

The comfortable furniture and privacy of Inward Bound's counselling spaces help you feel at ease.

Virtual Appointments

One of the options we offer clients is virtual appointments. Whether it saves you travel time, avoids traffic or bad weather, or you’re just more comfortable in your own space, online appointments can reduce your stress. They’re also just as effective as in-person appointments.

When you book a virtual appointment, your appointment confirmation will provide specific details about how to connect. Generally, when you’re getting set up just ahead of your appointment time, ensure your sitting space is comfortable, private, and quiet. We’ll do the same so your appointment remains confidential and free from distractions and interruptions.
